Hi all! I'm Emma, I'm a senior at a private high school. Though I now live in VA, I was born in England and am still a citizen of the UK. I'm obsessed with horses, and I own 2, a 18 year old Quarter Horse Palomino gelding named Stanley, and a 6 year old Chestnut Thoroughbred mare named Flying Colours, barn name Cassidy. Stan is now retired at Old Meadow farm as a lesson pony, so he's basically being ridden 1x by beginners a week and hanging out in a huge field with his buddies. Stan was diagnosed with Navicular last year, and I was told he'd never be sound past walk without bute and bar shoes again. He proved everyone wrong- Stan is now sound walk, trot, canter barefoot and he hasn't had bute since last year. My other horse, Cassidy, is in training for Eventing. We're currently competing at Beginner Novice, looking to finally move up to Novice in the Spring. Cassidy is also my trainer's lead horse on trails- we get to take all the babies in training outside! It's great fun! She's amazing, she's the boldest horse I've ever ridden, she'll jump anything, never spooks, and has the most comfortable gaits of any horse I've ridden, and the best personality ever. Besides horses, I spend alot of time outside school/homework with FOCUS(Fellowship Of Christian Universities and Schools), hanging out with friends(of course), and attening Model UN/OAS/Arab League confrences.
